I've got a 65cm Raleigh Pro Race Reynolds 501 frame, forks and bottom bracket gathering dust - it was my first fixed conversion and is in very good nick - the only downside is cut off shifter braze ons - you can have it for £30 posted

/\ The Woodrup is pretty tasty in the above thread... not to mention the fillet brazed CB, even if it is a few inches too short for you...

Excuse my ignorance but what is a fillet brazed CB?

tasty indeed.
Thanks for all your suggestions.
The Woodrup is really nice but at 63.5cm it will only be around 62cm ctc. so not sure if big enough for my slender frame
I'd be intereseted to see what other 6'6" - 6'7" giants like me are riding.... -

how do you know 65cm is the correct size?

Good question. I can't say 65cm is def the right size for me.
I sort of came to the conclusion from asking people what they were riding. I've also spoken to a few bike shops and been told I should be getting at least 63cm/64cm but I am always open to other suggestions. -

I'm just over 6'6" and looking to get my first fixed gear bike.
Before I even think about a custom build I want to see if there are any bikes out there.
