Yes of course it was sold...
For short top tube frames take a look at:
BRIAN ROURKE ROAD FRAME c1996
Seat Tube (ctt): 20.5in (52cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 20.75in (52.5cm)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: 700C
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 42mm
Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531C
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Brian Rourke framesets were and some I believe are still produced in their own workshop by Paul Washington - this frame features his very distinctive and special wrap over seat stays. And has hardly been used - the kit that was taken off looked as if it had not done 100 miles... The paint is truly excellent with just a couple of small chips. This frame I think dates from the middle/late 1990s. I was very impressed by Paul Washington’s workshop when I visited about 12 years ago and his frames are really rather special. £169TEAM BRITE MICRO LO-PRO TT FRAME Reynolds 853 c1998 built by Paul Donohue
Ex Chris Newton
Seat Tube (ctt): 44.5cm (17.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: Reynolds 853
This frame is an ex Team Brite micro lo-pro frame that was ridden by Chris Newton around 1998 and is beautifully built from Reynolds 853 tubing. Paul Donohue’s works built all the Team Brite frames and they employed a tig welder who was truly superb - in my opinion he was just as good as the tig welders at Merlin who I had seen working back in 1994. Its a really gorgeous frame which would equate to about a conventional 21.5 in road frame and is designed for use with a long aero seatpost and aero bars of course. It comes complete as shown in the photos with its original bladed carbon fibre forks. £195DAVE HUISH ROAD FRAME c1988/89
Seat Tube (ctt): 20.5in (52cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 20.75in (52.5cm)
Rear dropout width: 128mm
Wheel size: 700C with brake drop of 45mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
This is a really nice road frame built to a very high standard – I do not know anything about Dave Huish – whether he built his own frames or not but this is a very impressive frame. The paint is in generally excellent condition with only a few small marks. It will make a very easy conversion to fixed or single-speed. £125regards

Thanks Hilary, still would rather wait to see if another Roberts crosses your path. Hoping to try getting something with 51-52 top tube and a bit special. The Rourke is very nice having said that (was umming and ahhing when I saw that). I can afford to wait until something just right comes along.
Cheers,
Kam

LANG 6-DAY TRACK FRAME 1978
Seat Tube (ctc): 53cm (21in)
Top Tube (ctc): 54.5cm (21.5in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 700C
Bottom bracket threads: Italian
Frame Tubing: Columbus SL
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Pure track frames especially ones almost certainly built for 6-day racing are really rather rare. This frame from Germany but almost certainly built in Italy was obviously built for 6-day racing - Germany has for a long time been big on 6-day racing during the winter season. Its steep head and seat tube angles are typical of six-day track frames. Its beautifully built with well finished lugs with an attractive heart cutout not unlike De Rosa frames - but its not a De Rosa - I have have checked with Christiano De Rosa... The paint is generally very good and useable but not perfect. Its not drilled for a brake and will have considerable toeclip overlap... £345
DE ROSA 1990s
Seat Tube (ctc): 50cm (20in)
Top Tube (ctc): 52.5cm (20.75in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C (brake drop of approx 45mm)
Bottom bracket threads: Italian
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
De Rosa frames are not common in this country or anywhere really; unlike Colnago all their frames are built in house and the numbers made are probably only one tenth those of Colnago... This early 1990s De Rosa is in exceptionally sound condition but the blue paint has faded rather badly. There are no dents or dings and it is straight. Very small De Rosa frames do not turn up very often and this is an excellent opportunity to get one at a very reasonable price which can be refinished to your own taste. £245
