Try mid century modern in Dulwich they have fair every few mo tha. The next one is in October, it'll be full of traders but the mark ups should be reasonable.
Alot of London dealers get their shizzle from the ardingly, south of England showground, the furniture fair is saturated with g plan and mainstream ercol, isokom and hille pieces. I've heard of people getting g plan sideboards for £150 and selling them for four times that after a clean-up.
ALWAYS look for Herman Miller when after Eames they will command a better price than Vitra and especially italian, and subsequently unlicenced, ICF in regards to office chairs. And history with stamped bases goes along way. I'd got for unusual pieces design classics such as eames DSS and early DAR's but gain Herman miller fiberglass editions.
Most dealers [and employees] can get Vitra at 50% discount providing you pick the item up from their warehouse.
Coppithat - you Jammu hit on the eames! You don't have a spare one you want to sell?! :p
