For Sale: Gazelle AA frame 62 cm

Posted on
  • Classic Gazelle AA roadbike frame including BB, headset and shifters.

Original silver coloured 1979 frame with blue linings made of Reynolds 531 tubing.

    Seatpost: 62 cm (c-t)
    Toptube: 57 cm (c-c)

Frame is used and has some marks of use and 1 dent in the toptube (see picture). Some spickels of rust on the rearstay and on the toptube on the brake cable routing (see pictures). It has all original marks of the high quality AA Gazelle frames, specially the 2 "butterfly bridges", complete chroomed fork and Roto Italy BB pot. Ofcourse Campagnolo dropouts. The chrome is in a nice condition after all those years. Unfortunately a former owner has "touched up" a spot on the top of the seatstay (see last picture). Not bad coloured but only a (to) big splash of paint.

Comes with Shimano BB and 600 headset and Campagnolo shifters.

Great for conversion as fixie or classic roadbike.

Tip for all Gazelle lovers: http://fivenineclimber.com/bikes/gazelle/gazelle_pages.htm

  • No tall guys here?

  • Hi there. Out of interest how tall are you?
I'm 6'6" and looking for my first fixie and not sure if 62cm is big enough

  • Probably not. I'm 6'8" and my fixed conversion is a 64cm frame that is still probably technically too small for me. Lot of variables though so I guess "it depends"

not big enough. pm maxcrowe. he's only 6'5" (i think) but he rides an insanely large frame.

i reckon 64 would do you. 62 and you would probably be showing an obscene amount of seatpost, and need a pretty long stem, although saying that i don't know your body geometry, so maybe it will be fine.
