A solution to NOT drill your track forks and have a normal front brake nonetheless

I think a few people are missing the point here.
There are plenty of things he could use, but he's trying to make something a little more elegant.

He has access to all the equipment needed to manufacture something himself so why not?
The fact that there are other options out there already is no reason to not try a different approach.

I'm all for inventing AND bodging personally. :]
