Offered: Double room in New Cross Gate

Hi all,

One of my current flatmates is moving out at the start of september and I need to replace him. 

I am looking for either a single person or a couple to move into the double bedroom in my house.



The house is mine, it is a Victorain terrace, and was fully refurbished before we moved in earlier in the year. I am 29, male, a secondary school teacher.



Estate agent bit: downstairs, there is a nice eat in kitchen (range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine etc etc), large lounge (with sky tv) and dining area, conservatory, garden, downstairs toilet, large cellar to store junk. Upstairs are three double bedrooms and bathroom. The available room is a nice double which is furnished. We have wifi throughout the house.We also have a cleaner who comes twice a week who cleans communal areas.

 There is heaps of bike storage, and a healthy selection of tools and bike crap at your disposal!

The house is on a nice quiet residential street and we get on well with the neighbours on both sides. It is a 5 min walk to the station. To get to/ from the station, you have to walk past a large Sainsbury's which is really convenient. New Cross Gate station has trains direct to London Bridge (5mins) and trains on the newly reopened East London Line that going north connects to the tube at Canada Water and Whitechapel then onwards through Shoreditch to Dalston and Highbury. On my bike, it takes me just under 20 mins to cycle to the city.



It is a spacious and friendly house. Any prospective resident would join me and the another couple who I live with. We’re all in full time employment, relatively tidy and quiet but do enjoy having people over for dinner, going out etc at the weekend. We cook a lot and everybody gets on well and there is a relaxed communal atmosphere in the house.
