has anyone used the 'on one' copies of the omniums? at £100 for the 165's with a bb and 48 ring it seems like a good deal but not sure how the quality will compare to sram
I've had a set for about a month and once I can afford it I'm going to get myself some omniums.
The chainring came far from round and has a pretty big left-right wobble in it too. Pretty sure mine wasn't a duff set as a mate has had the same problem.
The left hand crank compression bolt fell out after about 2 days too, but that was down to my own fault (might have helped if the bolt was a little longer though.) Finding another one was pretty bloody hard too, ended up using a bolt from my megaexo fsa cranks on my mountainbike after on-one couldn't source me a replacement.
still for £100 they're not too bad. nice and stiff and they're shiny which is nice
