deals! I'll take them all!

Not really, but I've cross posted the road rat to the polo ebay thread. Shouldn't have trouble shifting it. And I'd take the KHS were it a bit bigger.

Correct - no dents - just wear and tear on the paint of the Gazelle
-
• #17
Gazelle and Trek road bike are provisionally held at the moment.
This makes Eddie the Eagle happy.

Gazelle is now gone I'm afraid. In the super mega major unlikely event that anything happens I'll let you know.
KHS doesn't tickle your fancy LMNB?

Oh Rodolfo - sorry...I completely missed your post.
I could be convinced to post but I'm not sure what the shipping fees would be. Let me check into that.
Is there a limit to what you would pay for shipping?

Time to clear out the shed and shed those old projects and bikes that need to find a good home. I have three frames and 2 complete bikes for your consideration.
Rules of the sale:
Frame #1 - SOLD SOLD SOLD
First up is my KHS Flite 100
Larger pic here.
I acquired this last year when it was one of only one or two in the country. I do love this frame - nice and solid and lovely to ride - but it was just too dang small for me.
55cm c-c on the seat tube (59cm c-t)
55cm c-c on the top tube
I did use this as my everyday bike and it has lock scratches and the usual day to day wear on the paint. Includes saddle, stem, bars and a Sugino 107cm BB with lots of life left in it.
**SOLD SOLD SOLD **
FYI - This is the same bike made famous by the NASA Apollo missions and has actually been on the moon. See pic below for irrefutable proof.
Frame #2 - SOLD SOLD SOLD
Have you had this conversation recently with your significant other?
I have the answer to your Bike Polo frame dilemma my Royal friend - a Cotic Road Rat.
Larger pic here.
I bought this about 2 and a half years ago as a single speed project, built up the bike and then just for whatever reason just didn't ride it. The frame has only around 200 miles on it and it has just sat in the shed for some time. Perfect for bike polo - really solid and has both V-brake and disc brake mounts so you may polo pimp it accordingly. Sizing is the "Large Short" dimensions found here and it will give you special magical polo abilities.
SOLD SOLD SOLD
Frame #3 - SOLD SOLD SOLD
The Gazelle frame from my first ever fixed build -
Larger pic here.
58cm c-c on the seat tube
56cm c-c on the top tube
80s Gazelle Champion Mondiale AB Frame. Bought from Jos before the TDV days it has the usual wear and tear for a bike of its age. Made from Reynolds 531c tubing so you get an extra 20 hipster bonus points and given the thumbs up by 80s icon Eddie the Eagle.
It still has all the braze-ons so would be fine to convert back to a road frame or great for a first build.
£40 for frame, forks, headset and seatpost - SOLD SOLD SOLD
Bike #1
On the 80s theme (or the 80s "tip" as we used to say back in the acutal 80s) is a lovely vintage BSA Ladies Racer.
Larger pic here.
50cm c-c on the seat tube so for a shorter rider
Acquired as the first bike to get the GF back cycling it is now time to find a new home. Once used in a tester episode of the Famous Five where it replaced the dog Timmy, it returned to being a bicycle and it's brief brush with fame was over.
The bike is not bitter about it either. Only the brake blocks, cables, mudguards and tyres are modern - everything else is completely original. Even the decal from the original bike shop is in place as is the original bell. It will however need a new rear mudguard.
Yours for a retrolicious £80.
Bike #2 - SOLD SOLD SOLD
2008 Trek 1.7 - SOLD SOLD SOLD
Ask questions here on the thread. Dibs followed by PMs are OK but do re-read the rules at the top.
