I don't get on with netbooks. They're just that little bit too small (keyboard plus awkward resolution on the screen). I just picked up a Toshiba Satellite Pro which, I think, is considered an "Ultra-portable" (13.3" screen). They're a bit more poundage than netbooks, but if you're going to be using the computer a lot you don't want to make it a painful experience.
This was a replacement for some stupid 17" HP beast which was a dumb move by me. Over powered laptops with big screens, ugh. They're less portable than proper laptops, so you don't want to cart them around, but not powerful enough to do what a desktop.
