So whats the difference between a hands free and using a handset? You're still having a conversation down the phone. Ok, so you've got an extra hand to use but think of all those disabled people with only one arm who still drive.
You can I believe still be prosecuted for using a hands free phone, albeit connected by say Bluetooth, if the phone isn't secured - say sitting on your lap, or the passenger seat.
When I used to drive I hated taking phone calls when driving as I knew the quality of my driving dropped.
