OK Thanks, I'm not going to change the wheels so I'll just take off the mech and shorten the chain. Bought some new tyres for it today, much needed.
Out of interest has anyone heard of "1st Champion" bikes before? I know its nothing special but I wondered if it has any sort of pedigree at all.
