A second hand bike is usually worth about half of what you paid for it unless it has scarcity value. Most OTP fixies do not have this latter commodity. Honest.
You'll get a lot more for a bike if it's clean, well maintained and generally in good working order.
Splitting a bike into it's component parts will probably make you more money than selling it complete but is more of a hassle.
