A can of Vittoria Pitstop and a whole load of acceptance that I may be walking 10 miles back home one day.
I do tend to just ride off road loops so the furthest I am likely to be away is around 10 miles and I also use very puncture resistant tyres.

I carry a rucksac with all sorts on the MTB.
I carry a decent sized saddle bag, with all the tools and spares I can imagine needing, on the utility bike.
But.......I have a tiny bag on the fixed. literally 10x8 cm. I contains......
One inner tube
Two tyre levers, which are too thin to be of use.
A spanner, which is a bit too short to get the hub nuts off.
A micro pump, which zaps all your strength to leave you stranded, fixed puncture or not.
Some Park tools preglued patches, which I dont entirly trust.I hope my tiny saddle bag is enough to appease the bike gods. using any of that stuff would be a massive PITA. Its light though stares at floor in shame

Standard toolbag, which I'll switch over to which ever bike I'm riding:

3 x iron tyre levers
Multi tool with range of allen keys and small spanners
small electrical screwdrivers (cross and flat, good for fine adjusters and picking shards out of tires)
spoke key
puncture repair kit
spare 1/8 links, spare 3/32 links
chaintool
tire boots
elastic bands
couple of plasters
Topeak Mini Morph Pump
I usually have a High 5 energy bar stuffed in there as well. -

Only on my road bike but...
1 tube
1 CO2 inflator
1 cylinder to go in ^
2 tyre levers
1 allen key set...got to say I'm fucking amazed at how much kit is in some of the lists.
@ The Seldom Killer what kind of distances do you usually do and how often have you needed the majority of those bits?*
*genuine question - really curious
Had my first mechanical today, my chain came off! Luckily I carry some tools so was able to do some road ride maintenance, got me thinking maybe a should carry more tools other than just a track nut spanner, what do you carry if any?
