  • Really?

  • Apparently, Joe spoke to the SPA guy and SJS rep and they can no longer order them.

  • i think they still have them at shop14. for £30 though.

  • any thoughts?

  • What's the lever like? two barrels stacked on top of each other?

Doesn't look so bad/doesn't look so good.

  • Linky?
    How much etc?

  • here
(more info on the promax site.)

i think its short pull so probably no good for v-brakes, but it looks like the barrels are stacked on top of each other and it has proper independent adjustment.

maybe not that great, but happened to stumble across it..

  • "cable adjusters not supplied."

    That's nifty.

It's true. The Rigida distro hasn't had 48h in stock for about 6 months now.
I don't know if they're actually discontinued by Rigida or not.

However there are these on the market now. Bill and Brendan both have a rear (fixed/fixed only though...) so maybe they can offer some feedback?
The hubs and rims are also available separately.

  • any thoughts?

Saw some people using them in Berlin... Similar to these which, according to a mail I got from them recently are also sold by Dodici although I've been told they work with both V-Brakes and Caliper Brakes so you'd imagine they pull too much or too little for one or the other?! You can see the patent here.

well mine are still true, the braking surface seems small, but once your pads are lined up i've had no probs, i've only played the open on them, but i have high hopes and the price is really good. Lets hope that after the winter they are still rocking.

  • Honestly just watched all of this... Zzz... gets kinda interesting around the 4min mark.
