I bought this ebay to convert into a fixie, and whilst I like it a lot, it is way too large a frame for me. I don't know how I thought it would ever be small enough for me.
Anyhoo, now it's up for grabs. If anyone in central London would like it, it's £60 and I can meet you at an underground station sometime. I'm asking what I offered and paid for it, as was suggested by you fine guys just a week ago.
Here is the information as listed by the original ebay seller. I haven't measured it with my own hand, but I have no reason to believe it's wrong.
Raleigh Carlton 'Super Course 12' Racing Bike Frame & Forks
Frame number: WPS???? (can't read, paint too thick)
Could be converted into a fixed/single speed
A quality Reynolds 531 frame, with nice lugs, measuring 21.5" from center of BB to top of top tube
73 degree seat tube and 73 degree head tube
Measures:-
120mm between rear lugs
420mm from centre of BB to centre of drop outs (chainstay length)
530mm from centre of drop outs to centre of seat tube (seatstay length)
360mm from centre of drop outs to brake mounts
550mm top tube (centre to centre)
375mm fork length (535mm overall)
27.2mm seat post size
22.2mm stem size
Has braze-ons for gear cable (on chainstay), cable guide on top of BB, cable guides on side top tube, F&R mudguard eyes.
