Phew. I bought a supposedly 27" wheel on here that turned out to be a 700c. grrr. Case of blind leading blind I think.
Anyway, the back wheel on my bike is a 27" rigida chromalux (with new track hub).
so today I managed to turn up a front 27" original raleigh wheel in chrome to match it in the belfast bicycle workshop.
Problem was it was literally orange with rust, but 4 hrs later with steel wool and shes almost good as new with tyre fitted and matches the back wheel perfectly, Im knackered though lol.
Just need to fit chain, buy a front brake and some toeclips and I'm done.
good build day though :)
p.s casp that bike is stunning. dapper.
