Bump.

Good of you to bump for us all

I think the body's overpriced. I picked up a very good condition D300 with a well-regarded lens and MB-D10 grip off ebay for £900 recently... You can find bodies going for £700 on their own. And sorry to piss on your chips, but shutter actuations means squat as it resets if you upgrade the firmware, hence is not reliable.

Fair enough. Will have to drop it down. Haven't upgraded the firmware but I take your point.
Soggy chips all round then.

nobody wants decent cameras on this forum. if it was a fucked hipstamatic that took obsolete film it would have been snapped up.
my 5D hasn't had any interest yet it's priced to sell (basically giving away the grip and batteries free)
try it on STW they probably have more disposable income on there and fewer students/hipsters. -

well compared to shop ebay prices that i looked at it is.
they all seemed to be going for £800 body only. -

from the same thread:
*"I meant I wish he'd been selling it two months ago so I could have paid £150 less.
It's a very good price, being £150 lower than the going rate!* "
*
"Wow. That's a great price. If only this was 2 months away.""Or two months ago.. On eBay going rate is more like £700 body only."*

£750 would be a decent price for just the body, not to mention the extras.
The one that's going for £550 is either shagged or just stupidly priced. -

Yeah, you're probably right. Stick it on http://www.sagazone.co.uk/classifieds/browse/ , you'll find the demographic you're looking for
