This morn, at the little cycle-path-of-death-across-pavement at Bow Street / Waterloo Bridge north. Waiting at lights looking north I see a ladybike and ladyrider crossing the pavement, presumably responding to their green bicycle traffic light correctly. A guy coming up the strand, probably just making his green light before it changed, or gambling on that amber light, smacking straight into her, in a comedy ooh-I'm-braking-in-time-oh-no-maybe-not-SMACK endo manoevre. I had to laugh, though I shouldna. I think the phasing on that cycle light is a little bit keen, as I've nearly hit bikes and buses a few times when i've been using that cycle-way and been prompt about rolling across thhe junction when my light's green.
Oh, and some nice chatty people (non-fixie-fiddler) in Southwark this morning along the Union Street path and The Cut who helped make my first ride in about a week-and-a-half pleasant.
