Wanted: SPD SL pedals (w or w/o cleats)

Looking for them cheap.

I'm new to road pedals, but think I've sourced some shoes with SPD-SL cleats already attached, so figured that's a good enough of a way to decide on a clipless system to start with.

I did have some that I got off the Rourke ages ago, they were Look ones, if I can find them (in the middle of moving house so a good chance) you can have em for nowt.

I'm pretty sure that SPD-sl came after shimano/look pedals. So if these don't work out drop me a PM. I've some SPD-sl pedals I'm not using.

The cleats aren't quite the same. If I could find my old Look pedals I'd try to clip my shoes (with SPD-SL cleats) into them to be sure but from what I've read they're not compatible. And to add to the confusion, the newer Keo type cleats are different to the old Look cleats.

LOOK cleats != SPD-SL cleats

SPD-SL use the same 3-bolt arrangement.

I haven't taken any yet, Henry. Was going to talk to Giz about the dura-ace and maybe get them today, but that may not be an issue any more - may have source some Campag branded looks which work with SPD-SL cleats.

(I am told they will work?)
