Remember using a 9t on a BMX which just looks wrong and is asking for drivetrain issues
I've got a 9t BMX driver on my roller bike, and it is indeed as rough as a badger's arse. The 56t chainring at the other end is as smooth as the proverbial baby's bum, so it's swing and roundabouts :-)
