Hi, I'm de-lurking to introduce myself. :) I'm riding a Dutch-style bike at the moment but I want to build a SS road bike too. I'd like to get a vintage frame (70s or 80s maybe), preferably in steel.
What are the views on steel frames for road bikes? My male friends all say I should go with aluminium, but I find it very clattery to ride on.
