  • That's my worry, I'd rather have one session, than two badly attended sessions.

Cool, well, I'll speak to everyone at the next beginner session on tuesday, and then maybe next thursday we'll go to Brick lane/Broadway courts.

    ?

We've had this discussion at the start of the thread. But to reiterate:

Obviously the more polo being played the better.
My concerns are that there are not enough people to have more than 1 session at the moment. If this gets saturated I believe it will be to the detriment of all sessions. Believe me I've spent a lot of time and effort trying to get this thing running.
I haven't advertised this outside of the forum as I believe it wouldn't encourage too many long term, committed players, which is essentially what it's all about.

If people want to go more central, or more local than that's fine, but I'm not ghosting a loaner bike around town.

I think that QR sessions are good for beginners as it attracts some people who have been playing for a while, and some from the league. This will obviously serve to help advance any beginners and indeed a few more 'intermediate' level players.

From my perspective, this has only just come in to fruition, so I would ask people to consider carefully the ramifications of any other sessions set up.
Beginners polo isn't established enough yet and I would hate to see the hard work go to waste.

I'm not being precious, I just think this needs some consideration.
