  • But it's a fixx@yz, not a track bicycle. :(

  • to be honest that carbon 4 spoke looks ridiculous on that Merckx,

  • Matching wheels, drops, get thee to a velodrome and use it properly.

    What he say's

  • And get your broken wrists healed.

  • Really not sure, I like the velocity aerohead, as suggested. Look nice on Pisty's ride. .

    Mine are AERO, not AEROHEAD

Yah, Hugo corrected me already :) They do look the part.

  • Mine are AERO, not AEROHEAD

    Not Aerosmith

  • [blue Eddy Merckx]

    Any other suggestions?

Put front wheel in the other way round?

  • Why? He's in illustrious company.

    The internet...

  • Nice and simple, I like it.

    Yes!

  • Sorry, forgot to say that yes its coming along very nicely.

  • Coming along nicely for sure Nuknow, love the 'raw/rare' finish and especially the forkcrown. Windowsill, though, is not loving the raw finish :-(

omg did you loosen that stem bolt at all when you put the bar in?!?!?!?!.....

    :))))

I think nuknow knows how to shim a stem, but yes it looks like someone had a 'mare at some point.

  • I got the bars already scratched, the price was unthinkable for Cinelli Pistas ; )

But what about the windowsill, eh?

  • Because this frame was built in Czech rep. in the early 80's, the conditions/,materials weren't the best. The tubing is a 'homemade', wood-pressed steel made in the city of Chomutv. The fitting of the headset was a nightmare - thanks Martin - the diameter of the headtube was different on both ends, the lower cup would get in just with a push. The fork steerer also had to be redone, and re-faced.
It feels really light and stiff, just a few details like bartape and it's done. I need a bike.
