John, the regulars have a Thursday session at Downham too.
I was thinking once my break is repaired, I'll probably organise a Monday session or two at Newington for beginners, because I work late on Tuesdays so making Quorn is difficult, and the lights are on at Newington, so it means people can play until much later. I can bring two mallets with me. People say to me I'm not a beginner any more but I still feel like I am, and I'd prefer to start off again at a beginner session, just to ease myself into it.
