Or try to grind/saw/dremel of the teeth a bit, but then you need some flat sides to tighten and loosen it.
Sound, at least I know it will work if I can get the bloody thing off. Been using the chain wrapped around the largest sprocket to stop it moving and a chain whip trying to loosen the sprocket but it won't budge at all. Soaked it in WD40 but can't really think of much else to get it moving.
