I cracked 2 ribs coming off a SS bike with just a front brake while I waited for my rear fixed wheel to arrive. I was riding very safely but it is so easy to skid out on a steep incline even in the dry.
It is stupid and dangerous, why put your girlfriend in such unnecessary danger?
