The time has come for me to sell My much loved BMW Gangsta.
This bike has brought me over 3 years worth of great times and happy memories, but the time has come for me to sell it.
It is from the first batch of frames and so has an external/traditional style headset and slightly different dropouts to the later versions.
I also had canti mounts fitted to the forks for touring duty.
This frame has been well used and is far from pristine...but no dents.
Worst first...The forks had bottle bosses fitted, but one of these has pulled out, leaving a hole in the right fork leg, more of a cosmetic problem than anything, and you could have it filled or even just whack a sticker over it.
The cranks have screwed up threads...you can get one side off with a puller, but the other side is a no no.
The paint has a fair few scratches, both rims have the odd dent, the saddle has a few scuffs...etc
I've had this set up in various guises over the years and it was great in every one, but it's currently set up in touring mode.
Spec is as follows...
BMW Gangsta frame and fork #18 46cm...equivalent to approx 56 traditional... i'm 6ft and it's set up for me in the picture.
Gold chris king headset
system x high rise stem
gold on-one midge bars with brown brooks tape

pauls components custom painted motolite front brake
gold hope seat clamp
