Agreed, if the Bilenky had silver rims, it would be bloody beautiful!

Is'nt that just a Pedal force frameset (RS2 same as Ribble Sportive) built up with SRAM Rival, and deeeeeeep wheels?

Subject of the most annoying attempt at viral marketing ever

Also just a rather ordinary carbon frame/SRAM Red build, I think the bar needs to be set a bit higher than that otherwise pretty much any top of the range OTP road bike would be in this thread.

so you go up the mountain, then back down it, somehow manage to work and go home again while you're already there? OK.
If you worked half way up the mountain, you could ride down to work, then work, and then ride the rest of the way down home.

^^ Alan has so many porn-worthy bikes that he could be forgiven for these two "color-coded" ones :))
seriously? the way he writes and a lot of the horrendous stuff he posts on his stupidly named blog proves that he simply doesn't get it. and getting even one bike done THAT wrong could lose you all your credibility. not like he has a lot to start with IMO.

Those look like cheap OEM EBay wheels to me too. It's a very bling looking budget build. You have to take your hat off to the builder, for getting bang for his/her buck. It'd just not porn.

Is it not expensive enough to be porn? Datz bollox.

OK, I get your point. I'm just trying to say a collection of low end components do not become porn because of very deep wheels. Plus that the wheels themselves are not porn worthy anyway IMHO.

Generally speaking it is not bollox. If a dream bike cost £200 everyone would have one and it would not be posted in the porn section as it would just be a common bike.
The items and bikes in bike porn by their nature are usually going to be the hgher quality (therefore higher priced) things of beauty.
To me, bike porn is the stuff I can't justify or afford but would love to own it. -

i see your point, but a lot of opinions on bike porn will differ on this and other side of the pond. here's a good case for example \/

To me, bike porn is the stuff I can't justify or afford but would love to own it.It sounds like you're describing the perfect candidate for anti porn, lots of money spunked away on parts with more care taken to ensure they are individually the best or even just the most expensive but no thought put into the overall build.
This thread should be a place for bikes that are either so purely functional that by nature of being so high performance, so good at what they are intended for the aesthetic becomes a secondary outcome of the build or built from components that go so well together to they create a beautiful bike.
Cost should not be a factor. -

if you were offered to be given this bike and only have a chance to ride it as-is, would you refuse? i know i wouldn't
-
• #34573
I would refuse, cos I'd look and feel a cunt riding it

I hear ya. I just like the ritte colours for some reason and the hoods are unusual. -
