Thanks for the concern, it is all very touching. Although mental, this was a long time ago. First time using V-brakes. Ended up with a scar on my elbow and a edge of the kerb shaped lump on the back of my head.
On a similar note, I hope all the other illustrated mishaps haven't resulted in permanent injury, we can all laugh at the silly spills.

I might draw my other favourite stupid crash later. Me, same bike, 100 yards into my ride home from work, changing gear/chainring while out of the saddle, chain hop, foot hits ground, stack over the bars onto my face, claret aplenty, looked like Harvey Two Face when the med-evac showed up. Spanner. There was probably some poo, this was Belfast.
