Need some advice on the best way to cost up what he owes me assuming it isn't found. I imagine it's being ridden around in another country by now.
As I obviously can't go into Brixton Cycles and buy another one, I think the best way to go is to break it down into individual parts and charge him like that. What do you think?
I realise that the frame is old but I think a like for like replacement would be fair?
The locks he borrowed amounted to £150 and i'd only just spent £160 on a full service and new bars/brakes.
Trying to get through to Dave Hinde to see how much they would cost to make up a custom made lo-pro frame with internal brake lines and finished with enamel/chroming. I don't think it's going to be cheap.
I keep hoping i'm going to see someone riding around on it. Please let me catch someone riding around on it....
