as for getting narky, frankly it gets pretty tiresome being told by all and sundry that as a white male i am a manifestation of the shaitan, the great oppressor and the patriarchal bad guy of history. thats called racism and sexism, is it not? i suspect the fact that i'm gay puts me outside of the definition of "normal" in the perception of many but i do still identify as a white male and take offense at the ceaseless onslaught. a sense of offense to which i believe i am entitled. white males have not escaped the brutalities of history and i see little evidence of our supposed privilige in western society.
anyway, whatever. i'm off to my golf club to collude in the oppression of women and minorities with my white, male, middle class, university educated, white collar, upper management cronies.
