Wouldnt that just make steering with a load in it really difficult?
It's no better or worse in that respect than any other rack that turns with the front wheel. The problem, as discussed back in the 12th Century when it was first posted here, is that the weight of your payload is trying to rotate the bars in the stem clamp, among other things.
