Get back to work and stop looking at porn you sick bastard.

  • Wow, things have changed a little. Not nosed around down here for a while. Last time I heard talk of moderation and the such a year or two back, it was poo poo massively.

How times have changed. I mostly just argue with RPM in person now.

  • ^reported for scat

  • It is the incessant merging that I wish we could get away from.

  • Up until this point I'd left your Volvo thread alone..

  • And become like timetriallingforum where somebody starts a "what wheels should I buy?" thread most days.

  • Deleted bikeradar classifieds ad by skylark

  • Hippy, could you please merge the post I asked about last night?

  • dibs on the raleigh track

  • Hippy, could you please merge the post I asked about last night?

    Done.
But if you create more parody threads I'll move it back.

  • oh dear, another asshole whingeing about parody threads, i bet wiganwill feels demeaned by his encounter with you

  • Fuck off James.

  • can you move this thread to classified?

  • Could we merge all threads about Dancing James and then bury them somewhere password protected?

  • Could we merge all threads about Dancing James and then bury them somewhere password protected?

We could hide them in the "My Bum" by Cliveo thread, nobody in their right mind would want to go there.

  • Could we merge all threads about Dancing James and then bury them somewhere parseword protected?

    Fixed.

  • Since Rider Down became a sub forum I notice it less. I only saw tonight that the cyclist knocked down on Navarino Rd had died though it was announced two days ago. Judging from how few comments there are about her passing I wonder if a lot of other people don't notice these things in the way they did when it was just one thread in General?
I know people surf the forum in different ways; I tend to notice whatever is the most recent post. As a sub forum of general that makes it easy to miss things. Is there any way round this? Or is it not a problem that other members have encountered?

  • Any thoughts on this yet?

  • Yes, I concur

  • I concur too.

  • Noticed the same thing quite a long time ago.

I wonder if it would be difficult to make stickies and special sub-forums be in Bold and/or maybe in CAPITALS, and all other threads be in normal sized font? This would gain attention as soon as someone went onto a new forum section, but of course they wouldn't have to open it, simply quickly look at the last date/time of entry to see if it was interesting or not. Also this would solve the problem of visibility, since stickies don't update (rise to the top) as other threads do.

    Just an idea.

  • I find it convenient that 'Rider Down' lists all the threads so that I can catch up with them, especially after time away from the forum, but it probably does take them further away from people who navigate by forums.
