the eBay thread isn't really the place to ask questions about what to buy. There are, however, excellent threads on womens' bikes here:

which include a good deal of information on finding a bike to suit a smaller rider. If you're not a common size, you just end up having to wait a while for something to come up though. I can relate somewhat, as a gorilla-pattern person with short legs and long torso/arms.
