dura ace 7400 road cranks 170mm, lots of life left in these but cosmetically pretty worn - was considering converting to track cranks but couldn't bring myself to do it £sold to dr fast.

I know, I'm pathetic, but this is no RD-7400 rear mech.
RD-7400 has no hidden P-bolt (the lower of the two the upper is a B-bolt).
This is either a RD-7401 or RD-7402. Check the stamping on the backside.
Not that it makes a lot of difference but some collectors are very picky. ;-)

I would be interested in these if the steerer is long enough, as I need 30cm.

@dutch cheese - you are most likely right - it was part of an almost complete 7400 group - i made the mistake of assuming - listing will be updated.

@jonlubi - 28cm, more than most will ever need, just not enough for you - i thought only max and braker needed such an almighty steerer.
