Hey I've got a Giant SCR 3 from 2008 (£449 new), but with a recently installed Shimano Ultegra Hollowtech BB/Crankset (£169 new ) and Fulcrum Racing 7 wheelset (£149 new). It's an Alu frame, with sloping top tube ctc 53.5 and seat tube 54 ctt. I'm just under 5ft10 and its fits me perfectly.
Superlight, superfast and great for commuting on. A few scratches and chips here and there but no major damage whatsoever.
I'd be after around £350 for it - bit over your budget maybe, but the wheeleset and cranks/BB are worth nearly that alone.
