On the evening of Thursday 19th Aug, i witnessed our fine local London fields constabulary apprehend a middle aged scallywag. He was in the process of pinching an 80's looking blue racer from outside London fields Lido. The miscreant was sporting a green Celtic hooded top and this seasons most sought after accessory, electrical bolt cutters...
he was whisked away in handcuffs much to the cheers of my fellow swimmers that had gathered outside the lido to watch the show.
Anyway, just a wee warning to be careful leaving your bike at the Lido. they do have a police camera pointed at the bikes but it seems it's still a big pull for bike thieves.
