No matter what you wear you will only be seen if the person looks. The problem is that peds/drivers don't actually look. I had a muppet pull out on me yesterday. I clearly saw him look in my direction, yet even with a bright orange top and a flashing high power LED he just pulled out. I stopped (just) and he looked at me in amazement "where did you come from?" was all he could say. He had 200m clear vision up the road. What do you say? What can you do?
