so it didn't sell for 225 on ebay, why would it sell for 250 here?

225 was a starting price and 300 was the buy it now price. It possibly didn't sell as everyone bids at the last minute and the auction finished in the daytime on a Monday. It is what it is, I'm not trying to rip anyone off. If you don't want it you don't have to buy it.

just curious why you're happy to let it go at 225 on ebay and not here. There's no fees here, which means more monies in your pocket.
And sorry for pissing a bit on your ad, looks like a neat amp

I didn't really think about it like that. It is a nice amp - don't actually want to sell it but I seriously need to get some money for a bike I can use for courier work. I just want to get what it's worth really but might consider offers......I think.

Hi do you still have the Selmer amp for sale
Selmer SV30 compact valve guitar amp (sv range dated 1970-78) with the original EL506 valves (originals hard to find, but are replaceable by modern equivalent) Twin speakers are Celestion 12"
The only snag is that the two channel switch only works on Bass setting, which probably only requires soldering the contacts on the Lead.
Hasn't been gigged since I bought it and haven't played it on full, but is pretty loud for a 30 amp and much cheaper alternative to a Fender or Vox AC30
£300
