Small Archie Wilkinson F&F

Anyone got FF's knocking about that they'd like to pass on for a polo specific build for an appropriate fee. Not bothered about colour or condition (as long as its straight) but size needs to be about 50cm and will need to be posted up't norf & preferably the cromo version.And or any news on the prototypes that were made for the worlds - are they likely to be put in to production?

I haz archie frame with Columbus fork still not sure what size it is pretty small though

Cant you get them for £100 brand new?

also if the Polo specific ones aren't being put into production by him, i may know some one who will do it

All Archie frames are 53cm if i remember right

The new bikes that Chukker and I were riding are both (different) prototypes. They've been in development for a while (they weren't made specifically for the worlds, just lucky timing that we got them beforehand).

The plan is for us to give Wilkinson's some feedback on these as a first step, then they can look at making changes. It'll take a bit of time for the process to get to a final production bike, but they're really open to hearing (sensible, constructive!) comments from anyone who rides them.

I'll post up pictures and my thoughts on the prototype soon on the polo bikes thread. If anyone wants to have a go on mine or Matt's bikes at throw-ins you're welcome to.

if the Archies are 53cm whats the standover height. They look smaller, but never ridden or measured. If they are too big for my dwarfish 29 inch inside leg then i'm barking up the wrong tree and need to look for an alternative cheap frame.

You can come hav a look at it if u want. Probley sell for 30 pounds. I'm se5 based.

Sheffield based makes viewing difficult, will take a punt on size for £30 though (but would need posting, obviously cover costs) and if it doesn't fit will pass on accordingly.

bought a surly steamroller in the end, just have to hide it from the other half now and hope she doesn't notice.
