I'm thinking the same, I think you'd have to ride pretty fast to pull it off, a bit like driving a pink Ferrari.

Although think they'd look good on my dolan (black frame, pink cranks, rock out the pink bar tape....hhmmmmm

Up to about 1900....pink was the colour for.....boys, not girls!.....Logical if you think about it.....men are aggressive and war like [ok, a stereotype].....but a waterdown version of red....is pink.....for little men!.....So where your pink a little easier.....not for women or girls....but young men.
