I wouldnt say 'screwed'. There is just a bit of damage to the lockring thread. Once the lockring is treaded on (which it does smoothly) your cog is held securely in place. The only mission is going to be getting the araldite off if you need too.

£80 posted with a money back guarantee!
I recently got these off casp. 700c Campag Records, to mavic GP4 tubs. No brake wear. With tufo tubs with loads of life and still holding air perfectly.
I had a few problems with the lockring which resulted in me damaging some of the threads on the hub (lockring area), due to this some of the threads had to be filed away so that the lockring would actually thread onto the hub without cross threading. I recently installed a 18T E.A cog then installed the lockring and also put on a precautionary layer of araldite just for piece of mind (alardite comes off if you have a few hours to spare and a constant supply of boiling water) and it has been fine, it hasnt slipped once and I've been riding them pretty hard these past few days.
Due to the issues with the hub, I'll be willing to trade the whole wheelset which incudes Tufo tubs, E.A Cog and lockring and I'll make sure to polish them up best I can prior to shipping.
I can only take trades on these, as I recived my new hubs today and want to get them built up (the reason i'm getting rid is because I wanted D.A hubs to match cranks)
So if you have any nice 36H cliners, pref black, or silver with no brake wear then I'll be interested.
IF YOUR NOT HAPPY, OR HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH THESE THEN I WOULD HAPPILY TRADE BACK.
