  • Hairspray and Soyos dont mix, FACT! it doesn't give you long enough to get them on, then if you dry out mid 'grip installment' you spray with a bit of water and carry on.

    or use clear laquer for a more permanent adhesion...

    changes to fixed bike - new bars, ratio (now 51/18 instead of 42/16) & seat post.

    Next up matching front wheel, black tyres, white tape & polish the stem up.

    Thinking about blasting to bare, then red lug lining and metal flake laquer - but can i be arsed before winter? i'm not sure.

    And this is the MTB I'm building SS for my sis, got all parts together, just need to sand, laquer and wait for frame to cure first.

    Was half thinking about jsut wet sanding it and leaving as matte white, concerned about durability of finish though.
