For Sale: Vintage Peugeot Town bike - Potential pub bike, needs new wheel £70

56 x 56 Peugeot town bike probably from 70's, needs new front rim, 650 size wheels, 3 speed but needs new gear cable, gears work fine, dynamo works but front needs new bulb, paint a bit battered but a nice frame with interesting lugs and no dents, mudguards not perfect but fine for purpose.

Was going to make it into my pub bike but just cant be bothered as have too many projects on the go. Would make a good beater, or you could restore it into something nicer.

No it cant be the pump peg is further down.
There looks to be a little silver cap on the actual lug, (it must be for oiling the headset)

TBH i have no idea, though i presume it is for oiling the headset.

It is a 3 speed, its 130 spaced.

Must be, its always interesting how those little things come and go (I think)

Interestingly this picture show some sort of locking mechanism in the headtube accessed by the cap.

Steering lock, I would assume? Awesome.

I just pm'ed Hilary, and hes confirmed its a Fork Lock.
