But then people might think it'll be OK to lock up on one of the side streets...
Sometimes if I'm out 8pm-2am (gig/club/Angel/Dalston etc) I'll just get a bus, it's depressing but I have a much better time not worrying all night.
Sucks about your wheels (I lost a rear wheel there a few years ago) but hey, at least it wasn't both whole bikes, which wouldn't have been surprising TBH.
