I'm no expert on touring so I can't offer a bike or advice I'm afraid but I know there are a few on this forum who are into touring and with a bit of luck they'll be along to offer some advice. If you haven't done already, it would be worth giving the CTC forum a try. Loads of people there are into touring. This site also looks very useful, especially if you're fairly new to touring, like me, and lots of good ideas for inspiration. Good luck.

nice!
Looking for a machine (or advice on a bike) for hitting the continent with - I don't have a ride that would be strong enough for big touring adventures (or one with pannier mounts), so I am looking for a bike with resilience for the open road.
Ideally a Campagnolo equipped steel frame. I ride about a size 56-58.
If anyone has anything, or any recommendations I would be very grateful.
Thanks a lot!
