  • Nuovo Record Brake Levers and Calipers in very good condition £95 posted

I am going away on holiday but will be able to check the forums so dibs and pm as usual, the item won't be sent however probs later into next week.

    Pic to come.

  • Do you know roughly which year they're from? Hoods with levers?

  • 1970s I believe and yes the hoods are white and are
    In excellent nick

  • Is this the same pair you just pipped me to the post at on CTC? http://forum.ctc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=40930

Edit: Oh I see. Good luck.

  • Cor, that's quite a mark up!

  • That is 100% hipster trawling tax.

  • How many jonnyrau's does it take to change a lightbulb? Four or more. One to remove the bulb. Another to ebay it and for its residual value. Another to perform an arbitrage deal on a new bulb bought at ASDA but returned to Sainsburys for profit of 5p. And one to hold the ladder (on which further deals could be done, necessitating more Jonnyraus...).

  • not the same pair, this one ive got for ebay, can see how its looks bad, but i have ended up with two pairs of brake levers and calipers. Therefore one is for sale, I am keeping the on i got off ctc. I am selling at this price, if you want it buy it otherwise I will keep em.Who would honestly say they wouldn't try make a profit out of something they got for a bargain? I doubt anyone would. Stop with the flaming pls

  • Provisional dibs for nstr Bangor. Pending price negotiation....

  • Have you made a donation to the forum running costs?

  • nope how do i do that?

  • done

  • Its terrible when those without a star next to their name, are the first to remind others of a donation.

  • good work jonnyrau

  • lol ty tarboy i like this forum most active one ive been on

  • Hey tarboy, if that was aimed at me you can fold till its all sharp corners and stick it where the sun doesn't shine!

I don't sell things via the forum, if anything I give them away. I do feel that people making money using the forum as a selling tool should contribute.

  • <-------Look at my star. Its purchased with the bare minimum contribution but,
I've never sold anything on the forum. Never.
I support the forum because I'm a purchaser.
I've never understood why the onus of funding rests only on sellers. I can honestly say that I benefit as a purchaser. I enjoy this market place.
Thats another point I should emphasise: ENJOYMENT and show gratitude for that, instead of typically taking it for granted.

There, sniff that pointy paper !

  • And I've never told you or anyone else that they should donate. However, whether true or not (see above) jonnyrau certainly appeared to be how shall I put it, making a profit??? I don't care if he makes a 100% profit, good on him for getting a bargain, and if the prices are too high but people will still pay it then more fool them. However, jonnyrau only recently joined and seemed to be doing a lot of dealing, therefore it could be said that a donation to the forum was in order.

I mentioned this and he to his credit immediately did so, this speaks well of him.

  • OK I guess it speaks well of you that someone thinks of reminding others.

  • £90 posted, can we get back on topic

  • £85 posted

  • £ 35 posted - you've obviously got too many of these anyway, I'll help you to clear your decks.

  • offer kindly rejected :)
