everyone moans about rollhoff and sram hubs because of the gripshift style shifters. Surely you can run these though:

They've got an extra click for 8 speeds and i'm sure that lever clicks the indexing off. These are brilliant in use, has anyone tried them?

not going to work with a Rohloff - they have two wires and the indexing is in the hub.
