i find if you wash the tattoo after 5-6hrs, get all the slime off (and apply bepanthen, cover in cling film for day or so) i get no scabbing at all. zero dropout, light peel after 3 days and thats it. then again i heal quick and get no redness. my escher portrait pic is straight off the gun.

Yeah, I was jealous of how fast you healed. 11 days after my last lot and I'm still in the lightly peeling stage. Mind you, it is pretty heavy blackwork that I had done.

+1 on getting all the slime off too. This combination of plasma and pigment will dry out horribly if you don't clean it properly.
