As far as I'm concerned it works but please tell me if I'm going to die, I'll make a life insurance policy so the missus and idiot brother are okay.

No! Your fine, really. I was just hoping there was an easy way to sort out yr chainline.
-
• #383
Ha, don't you hate it when mechanics go 'hmm'. Sinking feeling.
I think I have a 3/32 chain J, will look.

LOL! I'm still up for the proposed 1 on 1 if you could get your mallet sorted and find a ball. Tennis ball won't do, just too bouncy!

I should probably get a 3/32 chain too, will help with horrendous chainline.
If it doesn't skip off the chainring, just get you and your bike on court with a mallet in your hand. Presto!

• #391
He has got a horrendous chainline though... ;
Glenn if you want to borrow a mallet and ball for 1 on 1, give me a shout and I'll drop it off tonight.

Wicksie, was going to ask what the balls are, would like to get one as I took home the mallet but not a ball. I think I will buy a ball anyway, and hopefully I'll build up a mallet soon. Scouting charity shops for golf clubs....

In regards to the polo-loaner, could we not just use a Barclay's Hire Bike? ;D
-
• #395
Ha, I will get the bike built. Damn weddings and birthdays eating in to me leisure time though.
balls? utfs ;)
http://www.lfgss.com/thread35221.htmlThese aren't great but will suffice.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Inliners-Street-Hockey-Ball-/350349939741?pt=UK_HockeyMake sure you don't get a graphite golf club as it will just shatter. Try Finches in Forest Hill, if you ask very nicely, they might have a ski pole spare.
Tips on mallets, balls and bikes are throughout the polo threads. This place has answers to everything!

I've said that. And some black pipe! awesomeness.
I have many balls (!) but I'm certain there are many people who'd be very happy to have these.
